Believe
I see it every day.
I hold it in my thoughts and drown it in my fears.
I feel it in my bones. I shatter it out and let it sink in.
I have it in me. I just didn’t know where or how to become.
I’m scared to believe in the truth. The truth hurts, it implodes.
It fades and morphs, casts shadows of lies. Although deep down, it feels safe.
I know I have it in me.
Something’s changed. I can feel it in my bones.
The sunset lay quietly today. The clouds whispered good night.
I see it every day.
The love, the light, this life.
I have it in me.
